Kevin and James first meet through developing advanced 3D printing solutions at Impact Gumshields.

Kevin Hannon - Director of Design

Kevin is a product designer and maker whose expertise lies in utilising advanced digital manufacturing and design tools to create new workflows previously unachievable with generic manufacturing techniques.

He has a history consulting in IOT projects, for large medical device companies, start-ups and lectured in Product Design at Maynooth University.

James Murphy - Director of Business Development

James has been leading brands strategically and creatively for nearly twenty years. He spent seven years in creative agencies, where he led the creation and strategic development of long-term successful creative projects for multinationals and fortune 500 companies.

In 2013 he founded Impact Gumshields a multi-continental brand with customers in 15 countries and has lead innovative medical, dental, and sports technology consultancy projects.

A94 Technologies has extensive experience in the quick translation of design prototypes into highly successful commercial products. We pioneered the use of innovative 3D printing techniques, developed our own patented software toolchains, and bespoke 3D printing resins for the production of cost-and time-efficient custom fit orthodontal protection for school and elite professional contact sports in the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia.

We strive to design and rollout novel production techniques, customer-based research for aesthetic, proprioceptive, and performance characteristics, as well as market identification and targeting.
